Key Highlights of the GAT-B Exam Pattern

The Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) is a national-level entrance exam designed to evaluate candidates aspiring to pursue postgraduate programs in biotechnology and allied fields. The exam consists of two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A comprises 60 multiple-choice questions based on general aptitude, logical reasoning, and quantitative analysis, while Part B includes 60 subject-specific questions focusing on core biotechnology topics such as molecular biology, biochemistry, and microbiology. Each correct answer in Part A awards one mark, and in Part B, three marks, while incorrect answers carry negative marking. The comprehensive structure ensures a thorough assessment of a candidate's analytical and domain knowledge
